Tips to Managing Trip Anxiety

As the days trickle down closer and closer to your departure, you feel a ball of nerves and anxiety in your stomach as you anticipate your trip. This is a normal and common feeling among new travelers and even experienced travelers. Heck, the night before I embark on any journey I still get butterflies the night before. According to a NBCNews post by James Wysong, one out of every six adults has a fear of flying and an estimated 35 percent of all airline crews, flight attendants and pilots also have a fear of heights or flying.

I stumbled across an awesome article, “How To Survive Pre-Trip Anxiety.” I personally would have loved to read this article before I went on my first big trip alone. The article gives advice from activities to reduce your anxiety to planning your arrival to finding the source of your anxiety.
