About The Travelers

Traveling as a 20-something is a thrilling experience; you have complete control over your own journey. Rushing through the crowded airport with passport and boarding pass in hand makes you feel giddy, knowing in just a few hours you'll be thousands of miles away in unknown territory. As you sit on the plane, finally situated, it hits you that you're completely independent. The world is yours.

We're three average college students who refuse to settle for a below average life. Every week, we share tips, tricks and travel hacks on how to get the most out of your overseas experience.  We ate, toured, hiked, flew, and partied our way through 20 countries, what's stopping you?

Sara Storti

Hi guys, I'm Sara. I'm 19 years old from Long Island, New York but currently going to school in Viriginia, just a Northern girl living in a Southern world. I'm a Public Relations major with a minor in writing.

This summer, I studied abroad in London, England, which was two months full of touristy things and constantly having to apologize for my American accent. From the beaches of Barcelona to the canals of Amsterdam, Europe was my playground and I can't wait to write all about it.

This summer, I studied abroad in Asia and made a few pit stops along the way while trying to master the art of surviving with mediocre chopstick skills.

Yara Azar

Hi, my name's Yara. I am majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations, and minoring in Music Industry at JMU. When I'm not busy studying, I am the Hospitality Chair of the Center Stage Committee of the University Program Board and on the social committee of the Catholic Campus Ministry.

My favorite thing to do (besides slave away in campus libraries until ungodly hours of the night) is go to concerts and sing along at horrendous decibel levels.
